1 - 5lb. Boston butt pork roast
1 cup white vinegar è to 1 cup brown sugar*
1 - 180z. bottle Bar-B-Que sauce
1 - onion (halved)
salt & pepper to taste
* If you are going to use a BBQ sauce that already has brown sugar in it, I recommend using only à cup of brown sugar.
Salt and pepper roast. Put in slow cooker and add vinegar.
Cook on high for 1 hour. Turn to low and cook overnight or 12 hours. Drain & shred into pieces. This is best done with two forks. Place shredded meat back into slow cooker. Mix brown sugar & BBQ sauce. Pour over meat. Place halved onion (cut side down) on top of meat and cook on low until onion is done, about 2-3 hours.
This makes a LOT. So have plenty of family and/or friends over or get ready to freeze some.
